Our popular tour Badass Women of Zagreb is in its highest demand in March, when we get a lot of inquiries from corporative clients. It makes us very happy to witness more and more companies organising such an activity for their employees. The tour is available all year round - you can book it as a private tour for your friends or teams. There is no minimum of participants, and the prices depend on the group size. Find out all the details on the page dedicated to this walking tour.

We occasionally organise special events for the locals. This year, we organised the Badass Women in Croatian. This was also an opportunity to promote our brand new edition - tour guide book In the Footsteps of Secret Zagreb. On that occasion, every participant received the book as a gift. We already heard from some of them, and they enjoyed it! We are still finishing up the English edition, and then we're going to officially release both editions. This means that the tour was a sneak preview of the book.

On that occasion, Dada Žitko accompanied us, and took wonderful photos (see below).

...AND A LOOK BACK INTO SOME COOL PROJECTS FROM 2025

If you're visiting Zagreb for a few days, and would love to join some of our tours, you will be eager to know our tours schedule. All of our tours are available as private tours, while we have some as public tours in English. Don't hesitate to book the date of your choice, as the group size is limited. Contact us to book a private tour all year round, while public tours are available from May to October:

But guided tours are not the only thing we're up to. We are trying to use our experience-crafting skills to offer something new to the locals, too, expand the tourist routes, and offer selfguided versions of some of our tours for individual exploring, so here are some announcements for this year, and an overview of our projects from the last one.

An Illustrated Pocket Guide

At the end of last year, we finished the project of a colourful tour guide book that contains four of our most popular tours. Our Iva Silla created the concept and wrote the texts, and teamed up with Igor Ivanović, a talented illustrator. Each location is accompanied by a full page illustration. The book can be read from the comfort of one own's home, but it works best if you let it take you on a selfguided tour. So far, we only have the Croatian version, while the English one is coming soon, in time for our season of public tours in May. You can already purchase a copy along with your tour ticket for a special price of only 10 EUR. When we meet for a tour, you will receive your booklet. It's a paperback on quality paper, so you can easily take it with you and explore Zagreb.

For years now, we have been offering a tour of Novi Zagreb. So far, it was a private tour, which meant that you had to book it for yourselves - this made it more expensive and harder to organise. It's time to change that - in 2026 we are organising the Novi Zagreb tour each Saturday from May to October, and it's a brisk walking tour to energise you early Saturday morning. Join a shared group of curious travellers and explore the area south of the river Sava. The tickets are already available for purchase.

Can't believe it's already been five years since we've started writing for the Love Zagreb blog with stories from Zagreb locals. The blog is managed by Zagreb Tourism Board. This is an ongoing collaboration, and so far, we've contributed with dozens of articles, and we look forward to continuing this collaboration in 2026. You can find all of our articles in the Untold Stories section. Right now, we're bringing you an overview of what we wrote about this year. Click on the article title or the photo caption to read the full story of each article. The most recent ones come first, and the last one will take you to the beginning of the year.

Carol of the Zagreb Bells

One of the bells of the Zagreb Cathedral, crafted back in 1707, weighed more than 5 tons! Lifting such heavy weights and playing with fire! Sounds like a man’s job. Well, say that to Anna Maria Foresti, who crafted 80 bells herself. She took over her deceased husband’s business in 1735 - and delivered! She wasn’t the only woman bell maker in Zagreb. In fact, it became quite customary for women to take over their husbands’ workshops.
