The hottest part of the Summer is here, and we had the heat in mind when we planned our shared tours. What can you do in Secret Zagreb in July and August?

We're putting this on the top of our Summer list because July hasn't even started, and a lot of our tour dates are already booked out. If you can't get a spot in our tours, this book will serve as a great substitute. The book is available in Croatian and English. It contains some of our popular tours, and you can use it to explore Zagreb on your own. Purchase it in Školska Knjiga bookstores. There are 5 bookstores in the city, and the most centrally located ones are Arkadija at the central square (Ban Jelačić square), and the one in Masarykova street, just next to the Croatian National Theater.

We are preparing a new alternative guide to Novi Zagreb, a part of the Croatian capital. The name of the book is The New Shore. It will contain several previously unpublished short stories inspired by Novi Zagreb, or taking place in Novi Zagreb.

A look back at May in Secret Zagreb
The start of our season of shared tours
The streets of Zagreb get busy and full of events in May. We like to join the buzz by offering our shared tours with the first weekend in May. This year, we're playing safe with our popular favourite Zagreb Ghosts & Dragons Tour. In addition to that, we are trying out something completely different by offering our The New Shore - Novi Zagreb area walking tour as a shared tour. Many travellers wish to explore that area, and don't know where to start from, or what to look for. A private tour is not always affordable, so we decided to offer you an opportunity to explore this part of the city with other like-minded and curious people who wish to get a taste of the real city. If you're planning to join us for the shared tours, purchase the tickets as soon as you know the dates of your visit because we already sold out some dates.
The New Shore vol. 2 - project
In the past two years, we've been putting emphasis on tours of the Novi Zagreb area. It is a part of our desire to contribute to expanding the interest of visitors to underrated, off the beaten path parts of the town, and help relieve the pressure from mass tourism in the historical city center. For these last two years, we've been receiving support from the City of Zagreb for these efforts. This year in particular, our plan is to publish an alternative guide book of the Novi Zagreb area. It will be an interesting book with contributions from the locals. That's why we run several free tours of Novi Zagreb area for the locals, in Croatian. WHAT WAS THE PRESENTATION ABOUT?
Has it ever happened, to those of you who work with visitors, that you wanted to do something out of the box with your interpretive project, but you had to tame your aspirations to get some funding? Have you ever had an encounter with a guest who was blatantly dismissive of democratic viewpoints, and you let it slide?
