Being a part of live interpretation conference

Heritage’s new clothes – that was the tagline of a conference that gathered more than 100 people from Croatia and beyond in a famous Croatian castle of Trakošćan, an hour away from Zagreb. The main topic was the use of live (costumed) interpretation. Our Iva is a rather active member of Interpret Europe, a European association for heritage interpretation. She has been running trainings of interpretive guides under the Interpret Europe license since 2018, and is one of the key members of Interpret Europe’s team for live interpretation. It doesn’t surprise then, that she took an active role in the conference programme creation. The conference was incredibly inspiring, with a bunch of new perspectives and acquaintances.
