Last Wednesday, Secret Zagreb travelled to Morocco. At least the story of Secret Zagreb did. Our manager Iva Silla was one of the speakers at a conference organised by Center of Excellence, Tourism & Hospitality and Master of Culture, Heritage and Sustainable Tourism at Cadi Ayyad University in Marrakesh. It was a wonderful opportunity to share some ideas and experience with Moroccan students and industry experts. We talked about creative tourism through the prism of Secret Zagreb and our sister projects such as Playful Croatia and Croatia Underrated. We also talked about heritage interpretation as a tool for sustainable tourism. The other speaker, Lucas Peters, an American living in Morocco, inspired the audience talking about his contribution to a more sustainable approach to Moroccan tourism.

A big thank you to all the organisers and participants for the welcoming atmosphere, and curiousity. We are also grateful to Hicham from Marrakesh Behind the Walls who reached out to include us in this session.

It was such a treat meeting so many locals in pursue of a career in tourism.

OŠ Antuna Augustinčića school from the town of Zaprešić near Zagreb included our selfguided tours in their trip to Zagreb. Around 100 students were split into smaller groups, and they used the maps to learn Zagreb's mysterious history and lore. They send us their feedback. They enjoyed the activity and were very engaged by the stories and the quest to discover the locations.
