Croatia Underrated Blog
This year has been a nightmare for all the tour and activity operators out there. There are, however, some of us who wake up from a nightmare and, as we realise none if it was real, we try to go back to sleep to see what’s going to happen next. That’s how many tour operators handled this period: instead of shutting down our businesses back in March with the first lockdowns, we waited and juggled, trying to get a hold of the situation, trying to fortell what was going to happen next, although we knew that it would be impossible to still be standing by the end of the year.
The end of the year is almost there. In spite all of the challenges, many of us are still here, more certain than ever that we still want to pursue this funny dream job of ours. More grateful then ever to each and every guest. And we’re doing what we’re best at – creating new content.
It has always been my wish to write about many curious aspects of Croatia. However, I was never able to find the time to set up a blog whilst operating 500 tours a year. I sure found the time recently. And finally started a new blog called Croatia Underrated. Please, check it out. The plan is to introduce the places that are not big stars of Croatian tourism yet, undiscovered gems, vivid legends and customs, tiny Croatian wonders. Although, the “underrated” part has ambivalent meaning. It’s about places that are opposite than overrated…. But also, I started this project in Summer as an Instagram collection of funny collection of underrated reviews. My goal is to start a podcast in a few months and, through both forms, provide meaningful content that is otherwise hard to find in English. Join me on this journey and wish me luck!
